In this work, I decided to depict an older woman wearing a brown sackcloth robe, which symbolizes her acquiescence to the new regime and acceptance of it’s gender roles. However, the irony is that she neither is accepting her role but, instead, is against the duly unfairness without hate or being zealous. Yet, she sits strong and firm to her beliefs.
